Axie Infinity

Adventure guide for Axie Infinity

The Adventure mode (PvE) in Axie Infinity takes place in "In the ruins of Lunacia", it has 36 levels in which you will have to face different monsters in a card fight. That you will have to defeat with your 3 Axis team. You have an energy limit that you must manage during the turn, for each victory you will receive an SLP reward. As well as levels 21 and 36 where you will get an additional SLP.

The mechanics of PvE are totally different from PvP. The levels are well designed and thought out where each monster has a unique design and abilities. In the early stages, the reward will be much less and will increase as you level up.

If you repeat the same level multiple times, the rewards will decrease until you reach a point where you will receive the minimum SLP.

Level 1 to 16

From level 1 to level 16, you will overcome them as your Axies level up. Don't worry if you fail, you can try again. If you are stuck where you are, your Axies may not yet have the necessary level. Keep increasing your Axies until you can use it easily. For each level passed, your Axies' stats will increase by 5%.

For example, if you get to Ruins 11 and can't do them, I recommend doing 9 more times to level up (you will gain 282 XP) and 5 if you want to farm SLP at low levels, because there are only 6 bugs that you have to kill and give the same 2 SLPs that the 9 can give you.

Ideal for SLP farming at levels below 9
Better to farm XP if you can't do 11-12

The best ruin to level up your axes in this ruin stage 12 because you gain 429 XP more than you will gain in ruin level 20 for example. I use this Ruin a lot to level up any newly purchased or born axies that I want to include in my PVE squad with level 22 companions.

Up to level 18, this is the best way to gain XP

Level 17

This level can be a bit difficult for some, since the monsters have an ability called "Goo Destruct", which is a bit heavy as the monsters self-immolate dealing the amount of life they have x 2 damage. So with 554 PS they are likely to wipe out your Axie in the blink of an eye.

If you want to kill them more easily, the best card to use is “Jar Barrage” (Body part: “Snake Jar”). If you use it when they explode, they can only damage the shield.

Levels 18 and 19

If you managed to complete the previous one successfully, at levels 18 and 18, you shouldn't have any problems.

Level 20

At this level you find that the vast majority of monsters called Toady and have the ability to immolate themselves. At this level you will get (401 XP) experience. Having the “Snake Jar” ability in your tank will be of great help. It is very important to kill the first monster in the first turn, so that the other two monsters self-destruct.

I do this with my Axies at level 21, if you see that you can't do it easily it's because you either need your Axies to do more damage or to upgrade them. Usually this level is used to farm daily SLPs, as this is one of the fastest ruins to complete (around 20-25 minutes and you will have the 100 SLPs from the quest).

Level 21 - SLP 200 Bonus

This level has 6 rounds, the first 5 you will face only 1 monster each round, but be prepared because in the last round you will have to face a Boss with two minions. But the truth is worth it!

If you want to kill them easily, choose 2 Axes that do damage, to kill the first 5 more easily. Since a Boss with a lot of life awaits you, with a good shield and in addition to healing his blows they inflict 1000 damage.

Tactics to kill the level 21 boss

It is very important that you save as much energy as possible, eg i had to play the first 4 steps to the limit, but the fifth step is where you can save about 4 energies.

On the first lap in front of the boss it is always better to pass, you will save energy and you will not avoid the shield that is always put on.

Take advantage of your best combos to finish the Boss as quickly as possible. The most important thing at this level is to know how to manage cards.

To counter the Boss's health regeneration, there is a card that prevents the enemy from healing in this wave, it is called: "Scarab Curse" (body part: "Scarab"). In addition to preventing the Boss from healing, it also does quite a bit of damage.

The Boss has a card that blocks long range attacks, it is better to have Axies that do a lot of damage up close and it will be easier to knock him down. If you have successfully completed it, you can enjoy 200 bonus SLP.

Level 22

In this level you will face very fast monsters which will be a problem if you do not have Fast Axes. Therefore, you have two options: level up your Axies to increase their stats including speed or have a team with a lot of speed to face these monsters more easily.

Level 23

You are going to need a lot of patience because you are going to be receiving criticism from all sides. Monsters at level 23 are called "Glorious Fang", they have a lot of morale. So you need to be prepared with strong, damage-resistant gear. A tank with the Hermit back can be very useful, as it does not take criticism when in use.

There are three cards that can be of great help to pass this level more easily. "Snake Jar" if you have this card, when the attacker breaks the shield, he will not be able to do additional damage, which will not decrease your health. (Can only be used once per turn. Bulkark gives you plenty of shield and also reflects 40% of the melee damage you take and Shelter prevents them from critiquing your Axie so you greatly reduce incoming damage.
