When you have a web portal or when you create a web page , our world is changing. The fact that we have a site where we can upload all the material we want in order to get daily visitors and interact with an audience is always a hugely rewarding experience.

These types of experiences change a person as it makes them think in a different way especially when that web portal becomes a permanent job. Since we started to think about how we can improve our site to increase the number of visits .

Visits are always important for every website because they bring the site to life. That is why you should always be thinking of new and inventive ways to make the content much richer and more creative , as well as enhance the experience of a website.

You have to be smart and resourceful for this, because the idea is not to be left behind with other websites . The idea is to be able to get your hands on a website that can attract a constant flow of visitors and gradually build up a fan base.

However, it can get a little tricky when we end up having some issues or errors with our website. One of the most common errors that we can get on our website is 404 NotFound.

This is often seen as a tracking error and for many it can become a big deal as it can ruin all the visits we have on a daily basis. That is why you need to know how to fix these types of errors instantly.

If what you want is to be able to fix your url and make sure that the 404 error does not happen again or at least you know how to handle it, see below this little tutorial that we have put together for you, who will teach you how to deal with this problem on your website Blogger .

Fixed 404 error

The reasons why this error can appear in a user's browser can be very diverse. This may be because you have deleted a url , ' have modified or simply by that it no longer exists. But if anything is certain, it is that when this error occurs, it must be corrected as soon as possible.

The good thing is that when this happens, Google keep following the original urls and we can analyze a bit why this happened and from there we can do something about the original post that goes nowhere and have google follow them new links to which we want to make it reach.

When it comes to URLs that have been changed in some way or no longer lead to any site, we have two options. We can eliminate the links that end up giving us this 404 error in going directly to the Blogger panel and entering Google SearchConsole , then the Google index and the Remove URLs part.

Or we can do something a little smarter and redirect from the old link. It helps a lot when URLs that receive 404 rank well and continue to get clicks.

Redirect visitors

What we need to do is enter the Blogger configuration and then enter the preferences for the search engines. Here you have to enter the part "Custom redirection" . Where it says there are no items, you need to click Edit and some fields will open for filling.

In the one that says "From", you must put the old URL to which you want to redirect, and in the "AT", place it new url where you want visitors to go. Follow up by putting "Yes" in Permanent.
