Big Time is a multiplayer ARPG with NFT
Today I want to introduce you Big Time, a cooperative ARPG with NFT, based on the blockchain, developed by Big time studios, a new games company dedicated to creating online adventures across space and time. The team's goal is to create games that appeal to a large, diverse and global audience.
Big Time is still in development, but we have a first trailer for Phase Alpha that shows cooperative action, combat, NFT collectibles, and adventure story, spanning time and space.
The trailer also announces the availability of an early access VIP pass which is on sale now, giving players an edge when it comes to collecting cosmetic and decorative items in the game.
As for the gameplay, Big Time has a system called Timelines that allows players to evolve the same character on multiple class routes. and switch to the desired class on the fly. So far, 3 classes have been revealed; Warrior, Chronomancer and Shadowblase, with a fourth to discover.
Big Time takes players through time and space to meet some of history's most famous - and infamous - characters. The mission is to unveil a mysterious threat that shatters the walls of time and crumbles history in totally unexpected ways. All of this can be experienced through extensive online play that allows hundreds of players to make their way through Big Time together.
Players can get a lot of loot. Throughout the game, players can collect all kinds of new usable gear, pets, mounts, player titles and ranks, and much more. Outside of Big Time, these sometimes “ultra rare” items can be traded, rented or sold to other players.
Players will be able to earn or find valuable items in the game. For example, if you kill a final boss in a dungeon, you can earn an NFT. These will only be cosmetic items, as Big Time Studios does not want to create a “pay to win” game where players can purchase NFT gear with in-game bonuses.
There will be two types of items in the game, including cosmetic NFTs, which can be exchanged for cryptocurrencies and fiat (euros or dollars, for example). This is where the partnership with Binance. There will also be non-exchangeable items, such as equipment that will give us more power in the game. These cannot be exchanged for cryptocurrencies or fiat currency.
Big Time is expected in early access in early 2022 for Windows PC, and everything seems to be going smoothly, since in May the project had already obtained 21 million dollars in funding.
