Before embarking on their journey, players create a character and choose a class for their character.

In this guide, we will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each class. This will help you decide which MIR4 character class you should get at the start.

What classes are available in MIR4?

You can choose from four (4) different job categories in MIR4:

  1. warrior
  2. Wizard
  3. Lancer
  4. Taoist

Like most MMORPG games, each class has a unique role and a different skill set.

Let's discuss the traits and abilities of each.

Warrior - Defensive Tank Class

The Warrior class is the beefy tank class in the game. Like most tank characters, they have high defensive stats and abilities like a taunt skill.

Being the class with the best survival and health points, they also have the lowest average damage among other classes.

However, they can still deal a decent amount of attacks, thanks to their debuff and CC (crowd control) skills.

This makes the warrior a great class for AFK farming, as you don't have to worry about dying taking too much damage.

We recommend that you go for a Warrior class for most beginners in MIR4.

Sorcerer - DPS Magic Class

The wizard in MIR4 is the "glass cannon" class in MIR4. They are similar to Mage / Wizard type classes in most RPG games.

Wizards deal the highest amount of ranged damage and spells, including AoE spells that allow them to easily take down a host of enemies.

Plus, they also have a few CC abilities up their sleeve.

Their offensive ability comes at the expense of their survivability - wizards cannot take much damage and will certainly struggle if left alone.

Sorcerers must keep their distance from enemies and use their magic spells to survive on the battlefield: the best defense is a good attack!

Throw - Melee DPS Class

Spearmen are unique - they are melee classes but they can deal damage from a decent distance thanks to their long spears.

This class deals a mix of physical and spell damage and has a lot of mobility.

Unlike warriors, spearmen are not very resilient characters.

However, they make up for this with their incredible CC skills and debuffs, like a temporary damage immunity skill or a self-healing ability later in the game.

In terms of raw damage, Lancers are quite close to the Sorcerer class.

Lancers are also great for AFK farming and are probably one of the best classes for solo grinding.

Taoist - Support and Healing Course

This is not an MMORPG game without a supportive and healer class, and that is the role of the Taoists.

Taoists are a perfect class to join a group, thanks to their supportive and healing abilities. However, their role does not end there.

Besides the supporting role, the Taoists in MIR4 are also capable of powerful melee and CC combat.

Taoists are very similar to Lancers in terms of mobility, and they also deal physical and magical damage.

What is the best PvP class in MIR4?

Each class of MIR4 has its own unique PvP (player versus player) playstyle.

However, the Lancer is definitely the best class to fight against other players in PvP.

Thanks to their range, mobility, and skill set, Lancers are very effective at defeating your opponents. In fact, most gamers even consider them to be OP.

Spearmen also play a crucial role in raiding - make sure you have one on your team!

What is the best PvE class in MIR4?

If you want to focus on grinding, Warrior and Sorcerer are the best classes for PvE.

Warriors are great for AFK farming because of their toughness - you won't have to worry about dying from crowds. While Warriors can deal area or single target damage, they don't deal as much damage as other classes.

Wizards, on the other hand, are very soft, but when used actively and correctly, they are capable of inflicting lethal damage to offensive spells, making them efficient farming machines from the baseline.

Which class to choose?

All of the job categories in MIR4 are fairly well balanced - each has its own advantages and disadvantages, strengths and weaknesses, advantages and disadvantages.

Ultimately, you have to choose the one that suits your playstyle and, most importantly, the role that you enjoy playing the most.
