Facebook activity log: how to delete it

Facebook is one of the most popular social networks in the world and counts of the most active users , people who share their posts and comment on many others among a multitude of families, friends and acquaintances. But it is also a tool that allows us to search people profiles and that we can browse user profiles without our being friends on Facebook, simply by looking for a name in the search engine and accessing their information based on the other person's level of privacy. How to delete the Facebook activity log

The first thing to know is that it is easier to access the Facebook activity log and edit it at from the browser version, although it is also possible to access the activity log from the mobile app. Therefore, we will focus on the PC browser version of Facebook, although we will also offer you the access route from the iOS and Android mobile app.

Clear Facebook activity log from PC

To clear the browser's Facebook activity log searches, we need to access the official Facebook page with our account; If you do not automatically enter your account, enter your personal data in the form of email and password. 

Once our account is activated, we must click on the arrow icon le socks located at the far right of the main Facebook bar to display the context menu of the main options; you must now click on the entry of the diary activity to access the main options of our activity log. The Activity Log is also accessible via its own shortcut icon on our Facebook profile page, located in the right corner of our header image.

We will now enter the main page of the activity log of our Facebook account, in which the list of our activity in said social network will appear, listed chronologically from most recent to oldest. Here we can edit each post using the  lock and pencil icons , or to hide or delete said publication, one by one.

Although if we want to delete our searches from the activity log of our Facebook account, we have to go to the left column of the activity log. There we have to click on See more of the third block of options to display the rest of the entries.

Now an extended column will appear with many more options in which we have to click on the entry Search History ; here our research will be listed in chronological order, from the most recent to the oldest. To delete searches, just click on the option Delete searches , located in the upper right corner of the screen, next to a search magnifying glass.

This way we can delete our search history on Facebook , individually or in its entirety. And is that although we are the only ones who can see this activity log, it can still be available to anyone who also has access to our personal account.

Delete the Facebook activity log from the mobile app

In the case of the version mobile devices de Facebook , i.e. the official application for iOS and Android , we can access the activity log through our profile through the icon with three points , where a context menu is displayed with the entry Activity log . Once inside, we can delete each registry entry thanks to its own three dots icon, located to the right of each one.
