Google improves its translations with Neural Machine Translation

Google Translate was born 10 years ago . This translator, with only a few languages, sought to facilitate communication between people who did not speak the same language, however, despite the limitation of supported languages, the translation results were far from perfect, if not good.
With the support of 103 languages, Google Translate is, say, the one of the greatest translators in the world . However, the problem of inconsistent or poorly worded translations is still present, although these can end thanks to Google's new translation engine called Neural Machine Translation .
Neural Machine Translation was announced last September at the Google conference. Generally, this new engine translates complete sentences , instead of doing it word by word, which offers much more consistent and precise results, virtually identical to what human speech can show. In addition, thanks to the nature of neural networks, the engine is constantly learning , therefore, although it may now have errors, it will learn from them and continue to improve the results of translations.
Neural Machine Translation is now available in 8 languages, including Spanish
As confirmed by Google, this new engine has been activated to process translations to and from the 8 most used languages, such as English, French, German, Spanish , Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Turkish. In total, with these 8 languages, the company covers already the total of 35% of Google Translate requests .
Although for the moment this engine is only available for these 8 languages, Google plans to be able to activate it in the not too distant future to the 103 languages supported by its translation engine, thus offering the most precise translation and more natural as possible. when translating to and from each of them.
