Botnet networks are eagerly waiting to include your PC

Almost everyone is known, the botnet networks or "PC zombies" are waiting to find an unsuspecting user.

In case someone doesn't know how important it is to be protected, cybercrime expert TJ Campana does an experiment on a Microsoft campus: he turns on a PC with one of the first versions of Windows XP and connects it to the network of networks ... In 30 seconds the computer is already budding Botnets networks .

Without knowing it, our computer can be controlled remotely and automatically serve as a platform to send spam, steal banking information, infect other computers or commit computer crimes. We call the networks of these botnets botnets, and according to the latest studies, they doubled last year, to around 500 or so.

Any computer connected to the network is vulnerable, of course those with preventative security software will be more secure, but they will not be completely. The prestigious company Secunia , estimated in a survey that the best security program detected only 64 vulnerabilities out of 300, giving a pretty telling number of the problem.

Now, botnet networks use advanced techniques that take advantage of dynamic IP addresses to make it difficult to track down zombie computers. In TJ Campana's opinion, the security programs associated with updating the software properly significantly reduce the risk of getting caught in a botnet.
