How to automatically forward emails from a specific address in Gmail

You can add forwarding to an email account where each email sent to a particular account is automatically sent to another. This applies to all emails; However, if you want to automatically forward messages from a specific address, but not all, Gmail has a built-in tool for the job.

Open Gmail and navigate to a message from the email / sender you want to forward all messages to. Click the More Options button (the three dots) and select "Filter messages like these". In the panel that opens, click on the "Create a filter" button.

As for forwarding, when it works, it allows the message to reach your inbox and you can read it from there. At the same time, the same message is also sent to the address you have configured for forwarding. You can read it in one of the two. If you want turn off alerts for messages from that particular email in Gmail , you can add a filter to it which will archive it automatically.

This feature seems basic, but you'll find that it is missing from even the best and most powerful desktop email clients. Outlook for one doesn't seem to have an easy way to forward messages from a particular email address. As for the web interface of other email services, they have a lot to do even if they don't add a specific forwarding feature to the address.

Remember, if you cannot access an email address inbox and confirm the request for email forwarding, you cannot set up forwarding. You will need to use a different email address.
