Before we start, we have to warn you that officially it is not possible to record Zoom meetings on Android. Therefore, we show you the procedure performed from the Windows client.
How to record a zoom from a PC
- Open Zoom and create a new meeting.
- In the lower bar, use the command Save. The Alt + R key combination is also valid.
- Once you want to pause or end the recording, click on the button Pause / stop recording.
As you can see, the process is very simple. However, it is important to clarify certain aspects. For example, although meeting recording is enabled by default, this option can be disabled. To resolve this issue, go to the Zoom website and, in the Settings section, in the Recording section, enable the option Local check-in. From there, you can also allow or deny others to record your meetings.
However, this process applies to meetings initiated by you. Therefore, if your host has not enabled this feature, you will not be able to start a recording.
