Video calls come to telegram for everyone

The developer behind the messaging app has announced today the arrival of this eagerly awaited function, which was already present in alternatives like WhatsApp, and which had become one of Telegram's great shortcomings, even more so in this year 2020.
With its version 7.0, Telegram introduces the possibility of make video calls with other app contacts. This feature is available for all Telegram users on Android.

A few days ago, we were talking the imminent arrival of video calls to the paper plane messaging application, since its beta version for android already introduced this option.
now Telegram has been updated on Android to integrate the possibility of making video calls fully secure through end-to-end encryption.
In this sense, the developer explains that, for check if a connection is secure, both parties to a video call should check whether the same four emojis appear at the top of the screen.
Telegram also indicates that over the months, Telegram video calls will continue to improve thanks to the changes and new features that will arrive in future versions.
A function which, for the moment, is not present, is the possibility of make group video calls. Currently, Telegram only offers the possibility of make video calls with another person.
On the other hand, the company informs that video calls will take a little longer to reach the Telegram app for iOS, because Apple did not have time to verify the package corresponding to this new version and therefore has not yet been published in the App Store.
To conclude, Telegram announces the arrival of new animated emojis to the application: a total of 20, which can be seen in the clip above these lines.
