Axie Infinity

Axie Infinity: Class Guide

Introduction

This is a guide to the classes you can find in Axie Infinity . It starts with the influence of your class on your playstyle: learn how to deal 25% more damage and calculate your stats. After that, we dive into the specific section of the class, which is a broad overview of the parts of the body, which decide the cards (abilities) of an Axie.

Which courses can you choose from?

Axie Infinity has a total of 9 classes that have been released in the game. Three of them are special classes that do not have their own body parts (or class cards) and therefore were not included in the game. this guide.

These are the 9 classes:

Benefits of each class

An Axie's class is important to fight, as each class is weak and strong against other classes. Axis with class advantage will deal 15% more damage. The ax with the debuff class will do 15% less damage. For example, a Bird class Axis deals 15% more damage to a Beast class Axis.

Additionally, when an Axie of a certain class uses a card of his own class, he gains a 10% attack and shield bonus. For example, a Grass-class Axie that plays a Grass-class card will receive 10% additional attack / shield.

It is important to note that these bonuses add up. A Beast Axie that uses a Beast card against a Grass target will deal 25% (10% + 15%) more damage.

Class Attributes - Axie Infinity

There are 4 stats in the game, Health, Morale, Skill and Speed.

  • Health : The amount of damage your Axie can take before being defeated.
  • Moral : Morale increases critical strike chance. It also makes the last battle more likely to come in and adds more last battle ticks.
  • Capacity : The ability adds damage when an Axie plays multiple cards at the same time (combo). The extra damage is calculated like this (card attack * ability) / 500.
  • Vitesse : Speed determines the order of turns. The faster Axes attack first. Speed also decreases the chance that an Axie will be critically hit. If two axes have the same speed, this is how the attack order is determined: High Speed> Low HP> High Skill> High Morale> Low Fighter ID.

An Axie is a " purebred When its class and all of its body parts are of the same type. Axie 'purity' can be defined as a filter in the Axie Marketplace, ranging from 1 to 6 body parts that are of the same type as the selected class.

Axie Infinity - Class Guide

The class guide shows all the body parts for each class. An Axie has 6 parts of the body: the eyes, ears, horns, mouth, back and tail . Each part of the body will determine the card (ability) that the Axie can use in combat, with the exception of the eyes and ears. Eyes and ears do not have a card (ability) attached to them. For each part of the body we will show the following information:

  • Level
  • Part of the body
  • Letter name
  • Energy, Attack, Defense (displayed as 'Jan / Att / Def')
  • Letter description

Note that an Axie is not limited to only using cards of its own class. However, it pays to play cards of your own class to get a 10% bonus to attack and defense points.

The purpose of this summary is to help you understand the cards in the game. Sorting the cards by body part has helped me a lot to understand what works and what does not for each class. After each summary of body parts, I added a gallery showing what the body parts look like. This will help you learn to identify which cards are playable, just by looking at the Axie.

Secret courses at Axie Infinity

There are three “secret” classes in Axie Infinity. The three secret classes are:

Down : Descendant of a purebred Axie Beast and a purebred Axie Bug.
Dawn : Descendant of a purebred Axie plant and a purebred Axie bird.
Dusk : Descendant of a Reptile Axie race and an Aquatic Axie race.

The 'Mech' class is often referred to as 'Nut'. The "Dawn" class is often referred to as "Star". The “Twilight” class is often referred to as “Moon”.

Secret classes are quite difficult to breed, as you need a specific combination of two purebred Axies. Even so, there is only a 33% chance of creating a secret class by producing offspring.

Secret classes have the advantages and disadvantages of classes, but do not have their own body parts / cards. Remember that when Axie plays a card belonging to his class, he benefits from a shield / attack bonus of 15%. However, since there are no Secret Class cards, this made the Secret Classes weak compared to the other 6 classes. To resolve this issue, Secret Classes get the following bonus when playing cards from classes with which they share advantages / disadvantages:

  • Twilight: 7,5% class bonus for Reptile and Plant cards.
  • Dawn: 7,5% class bonus for Birds and Water cards.
  • Mech: 7,5% class bonus for Beast and Insect cards.

What makes Secret Classes different?

Secret classes have different base colors and stats.

Class HP Speed Skills Moral
Dawn 35 35 39 31
Twilight 43 39 27 31
Mecha 31 39 43 27
