Plant vs Undead (PVU) - PvP Chain and Factory

We have some new news on Plant vs Undead (PVU), especially on PvP mode and Factory chain. In addition, there is mention of the Farm 3.0 update and other interesting details.

From what I can read in the official version, the Plant vs Undead PvP mode beta will launch in mid-October on the proprietary blockchain - Factory Chain, which means this mode will use a separate ecosystem alongside of a new token.

How the process will work

On the initial launch of PvP mode, players who already have assets in Farm mode will be able to replicate all of their assets in PvP mode and start playing with their NFTs.

One week after the launch of PvP mode, Farm mode and PvP mode will be developed independently. Now players will no longer be able to transfer assets between the two modes.

To make it easier for players to enter the new ecosystem and reduce the volatility of the new token, 30% of the current PVU liquidity pool on Pancakeswap will be allocated to the swap pool for PvP mode on the FAC channel. It also allows players to redeem for the new token as soon as it becomes available.

They will also continue to add at least 4 BNB to the current pool of PVUs in Pancake Swap (until it is time to allocate some of it to the FAC chain pool) to expand and further stabilize the price of the Pancake Swap. PVU. So far 000 BNB have been added.

This change will benefit both players and developers.

With these changes, developers will be able to improve the base gameplay of the two games separately without worrying that one of them will affect the balance of the other.

Although PvP mode is a standalone game, PvE mode will be integrated into Farm mode. Update 3.0 will be released in Q2021 XNUMX and includes PvE mode.

Update 09-22-2021

They just announced the following:

After some internal discussions, our team decided to increase the rate of LE -> PVU from 150: 1 to 500: 1 (500LE = 1PVU), starting at 00:00 UTC on September 23, 2021.

“We apologize for such short notice and we should have had more foresight in this situation. However, this change is urgent and necessary to protect the integrity of our game, which is more in line with the design philosophy of Farm 3.0, as well as PvP and PvE modes, ”they said in the statement.

All other rates remain unchanged (1 PVU -> 105 LE, 100 plants -> 1 seed exchange rate, 10% weekly increase in LE -> PVU, etc.)

This mechanic will remain in effect until the release of Farm 3.0, then PvE mode and other new mechanics will replace it.

Other official statement:

First of all, we would like to formally apologize for these important recent changes. You've probably guessed it by now, but we'd at least like to give you a proper explanation. Due to the large number of new players who have arrived in our game in the last 2 weeks, reaching a maximum of 2 million players in total, the current economy of our farm mode is unsustainable.

With the recent decision to separate farm mode from PvP mode, we had to quickly assemble a new business model for the game, but the growing player base left us with very little time. Obviously, this is no excuse for our incompetence, and we should have anticipated this situation.

For now, our hands are tied, but please know that our developers are working day and night to correct this bug in Farm 3.0 and in PvP mode. We know this is asking a lot of you, but we hope you can be patient and give us a little more time so that we can organize this for everyone.

The UPV team.
