How to hide replies to your Twitter posts

Fortunately, Twitter added a very useful feature some time ago that lets you hide replies to your posts. It is something that can be done at the both in its version for Android and from the web.

Hiding replies does not mean that users cannot see them, they can continue to access them from the hidden replies button. Moreover, the author of the hidden answer will not receive any type of notice regarding your decision. Here's how to do it step by step:

1º- Select the response to your post you want to hide and click on the arrow that appears in the upper right corner, which will bring up a menu of options.

2º- In the menu, select the option Hide reply to confirm later that you really want to hide it. This way, the reply will be hidden, but users can continue to see it by selecting your post and clicking the button that appears in the lower right corner of it.

How to stop hiding replies to your Twitter posts

Hide replies to your Twitter posts is not an irrevocable decision, you can redisplay them whenever you want. To do this, what you need to do is the following:

1º- Select your publication and click on the hidden answers icon, located in the lower right corner of it.

2º- Next, press the arrow at the top right to access an options menu where you must select "Stop hiding the answer".

3º- After clicking on this button, the answer will no longer be hidden and will be visible again under your post, thus being visible to all users.

As reported by Twitter on its website, it exists some occasions in which hidden answers are not shown in the corresponding section, such as those that have been posted by protected accounts or those that have been deleted. Also, if you hide a response and its author blocks or mutes you, you won't be able to stop hiding or showing it in Hidden Answers.
