How to Buy Your First Axies: A Step-by-Step Guide
As of today, there are two ways to buy Axies, one directly through its gateway using a credit or debit card and the other through an exchange. In this guide, you will learn all the steps necessary to buy your first axies.
Buy Axies for Ronin with Fiat Money
In May 2021, Axie infinity made a payment gateway (Ramp) available to all its players to buy ETH and directly top up the Axie infinity account. It is very easy to do this besides saving you a lot of money in GAS expenses (The GAS how saturated the network is).
Steps to buy Ethereum and load your Axie Infinity account
1.- To buy your Axies in the easiest way, you can buy ETH directly, for this you need to click on the Ronin extension previously installed in the browser (If you haven't created it yet, I recommend our guide to create the Infinite Axis account).
2.- We click on the Buy button to buy WETH.
3.- We select the amount of WETH we want to buy or how much you want to spend in your local currency and it automatically performs the calculations, you must take into account that for every 250 ?? that you buy, you have to face a commission of 2,49 ??. Then we just click on the Continue button to continue the transaction.
4.- Here you must use the email with which you registered the Ronin account, accept the terms of use and click on the Continue button.
5.- We put the 6 confirmation numbers that they previously sent to our e-mail.
6.- If you clicked on the extension and then deposited as in step 1, your Ronin address should appear automatically filled in, if it does not appear you can enter it manually.
7.- We select the payment method we are going to use and give it to continue.
8.- We add our personal data and give Save billing address.
9.- We add the data from our card and give it to ADD CARD.
10.- The next step is verification, the Ramp gateway will ask you for a photo of your face and a photo of the front and back of your ID, after a few minutes or sometimes hours they will confirm the transaction if there is no has no problems.
Buy Axies through an exchange
To buy Axies via a stock exchange you must have an account already created. Binance, which for me is the best scholarship that exists today and it is the one that I will explain in this guide.
If you still do not have a Binance account, click here to open your account and thus you will get a special bonus of 10% extra savings on commissions.
Once we have our Binance account with funds, to transmit ETH to the market, we need to do the following:
1.- At the top of Binance, you need to go to Wallet -> Fiat and spot.
2.- We look for the ETH currency and click on Withdraw.
3.- Warning! We select the Ethereum (ETH) ERC20 option, because if we send it through one of the others, we may lose money.
4.- We click on our Metamask wallet and copy our address by clicking on it.
5.- We paste the address of the metamask in Binance where it is written: ETH address of the recipient, we select the desired amount and we give it to send. (In my case, I put the maximum ETH I had, binance automatically reduces the fees, I mean I have nothing else to calculate).
6.- In the next step, we will have to put a code that Binance sends us by email and the google verification code (this will only ask if you have 2-step authentication in binance). To proceed with the confirmation, we click on send.
When you send you will receive the withdrawal request, you wait a few minutes for this to happen and you will be able to see your ETH in metamash like in the following photo.
7.- The next step is to access your Axie account, to log into both the metamask and Ronin wallets so that it is synced with your account and you will be able to see the balance or your dice in both accounts as shown below photo. We click on Deposit at Ronin.
8.- We click on the Ronin extension to copy your address and paste it where it says RONIN ADDRESS, then you have to click where it says ASSETS to select ETH and finally we put the amount we want to deposit. (Remember to leave enough ETH in your Metamask wallet to pay the fees or GAS, which you can calculate here).
In the following picture you can see the expenses of GAZ, remember that it can vary depending on the congestion of the network, so it is very high and you do not need to make the transaction, you can wait a few hours or days to do it.
9.- We confirm the transaction then when our metamask wallet is open, we sign the transaction as many times as necessary. Once done, we just have to wait a few minutes and we will have our Ethereum in our Axie infinity account ready to buy our AXIES !.
How to buy an Axies team?
To play in Axie Infinity, you will need to form a team with 3 Axies. That you can buy on Axie Marketplace .
When you are in the market, you have to decide what you want to do with the Axies, buy them to play, breed, market, as an investment to create stock exchanges and to help people who do not have the economic capacity at the beginning or for collect them as a store of value.
¿ What Axies to buy?
This question is very personal and it depends a lot on what you want them for, if it is for PVP there are many ways and strategies but it is usually played with a Tank type plant, a beast and a bird. If it is for trading and breeding the best are cigars with good letters.

If you've made it this far, it means you have your team to start playing. But not before downloading the game from the official Axie Infinity website, go to “Play Now” and download Mavis Hub for Windows, Android, iOS, Mac. Depending on the device you are going to use.
Log in with the email address and password you previously set up in your axie infinity account, or if you are playing on a mobile device, you can scan the QR code that is in your account on the side left of the screen.
Once you're in the game, you'll first need to sync your Axies from your wallet. To do this, go to the place where it says "Axies" at the bottom left of the screen and click "Synchronize Axie".
Return to the main menu once your Axies are synced.
Select "teams" from the menu at the bottom left and click on "new team". Enter a team name and select the Axies you want to use.
Position your Axies wisely! Positioning is very important, as the Axes in front will be the first to be hit by the enemy team.
You can now jump straight into the adventures (PVE) or the arena (PVP).
If you win an Adventure or Arena match, you will be rewarded with Sweet Love Potions (SLP). You can sell these Smooth Love Potions on trades or use them to spawn new Axies. You can claim your SLPs every 14 days by logging into your account through the Axie Marketplace website, selecting “Claim Tokens”, then “Claim SLP”.
