Plant vs Undead (PVU) and the Farm 2.5 system - Requires an NFT plant to be able to exchange LE for PVU
The guys from Plant vs. Undead (PVU) continue to reflect how to make the farm system playable and came up with a radical change they dubbed; "The tree of the world." Farm 2.5 will be released on September 12
The World Tree aims to replace the current daily quest system. All players on the server will now have to collaborate to take care of the World Tree. The more players put in their two cents, the more reward the trees will give. Tree rewards reset daily.
New farming system 2.5

After some internal discussions, they decided to make some changes to the game to make it more user-friendly for new players: The limit of seeds from farming has been increased from 22 to unlimited The base rate for trading between LE and PVU has been increased as follows:
New condition when exchanging LE for PvU
0 NFT active: cannot exchange LE 1 NFT plant: 150LE exchange rate = 1 PvUMore than 2 factories or more than 1 land: the exchange rate is 100LE = 1 PvU
It is not clear if the rate for having 2 or more NFT factories than 1 land is 100LE = 1 PVU, which is why I crossed it out. When it clears up, I edit the post.

New bot detection tools on the server
These 2 changes combined should help identify players who take advantage of the system and get them banned. No one can recover all the prohibited assets.
These changes will take place immediately when our server is online.
Other minor changes
- The watering time for all plants will be reset to 00:00 UTC instead of when the plants were placed. This will help players water their plants more consistently. This change will take place at 00:00 UTC on September 2.
- Reduced the crow's spawn rate to a 10% chance of spawning randomly between 2-10 hours after its last spawning.
- The server has been extended to allow 6 groups of players 30 minutes apart.
The tree of the world
The World Tree will be the new daily quest system, rewarding all players who participate in its cultivation. The more players participate, the more rewards they will receive.
Is this how it works:
- Every day, server players donate water to the world tree (minimum is 20 water per player).
- Each reward requires a specific amount of water given by the entire server.
- Once the need for water is satisfied, all players who have donated water to the World Tree can claim the corresponding reward.
Reinforcement of the first week
To speed up getting the game's first NFT, the team decided to increase the World Tree rewards in week one.
The rewards are as follows:
- Reward 1: 10LE + 1 sunflower shrub - Requirement: 4 water
- Reward 2: 15LE + 1 sapling of sunflower - Requirement: 6 water
- Reward 3: 25LE + 2 sunflower saplings - Requirement: 9 water
- Reward 4: 1 box of sunshine + 2 young sunflower sprouts - Need: 12 water
- Reward 5: Each plant is fully watered automatically the next day + 50LE + 4 sunflower plants - Need: 15 water
- Reward 6: 4 Sunflower - Requirement: 50 water
After the first week, all rewards grow sunflower and the requirements for each day will match the number of active players. Basically the LE rewards will be left in the boxes and no more suckers will be given away.
How to play now without investing 100 PVU?
We'll just have to grow Sunflower until we get enough LE to buy 100 Sunflower Seeds, then swap those seeds for an NFT plant. Solar boxes from Daily Missions can also drop seeds if we're lucky.
This measure is simply a way of preventing people from enjoying the game and making it difficult for everyone i.e. bots and multi-accounts.
“This decision is final,” says a Discord developer, “but we know some of you don't like our decision, so we've decided to reopen the LE -> PvU exchange before the farm system is released. 2.5 so that they can leave if they wish ”.
This change will take place on Farm 2.5 release day, which could take at least a week or two.. I'll update this part when we get the date.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Can players continue to play with a low investment?
If we can. You just need to grow sunflowers until you have enough LE to buy 100 sunflower seeds, then trade those seeds for NFT plants. Solar boxes from Daily Quests also drop seeds if you're lucky.
Are the LEs that I invested in the NFT factory lost forever?
Absoutely. If you ever decide to stop gambling, your NFT assets can be sold on the market for PVU.
How much do the new changes improve the server?
Before, the heaviest load on the server was when players went to other people's farms. By removing this feature, the game should be able to handle a larger number of players at the same time.
How do the new changes reduce bots, use of third-party tools, and account spam?
Prior to farm 2.5, there was no consequence to taking any of the above actions. Now, anyone who plans to take any of these actions risks being banned and having at least one or more NFTs permanently deleted. In other words, you are responsible for your own actions and if you are willing to risk losing at least 100 investment PVUs, so be it.
Can I still get World Tree rewards if I donate water later?
Yes, the reward system works retroactively, which means if you donate water when the server has reached the third reward, you will be able to claim rewards 1, 2, and 3.
What happens if I donate water but forget to claim it until the next day? Am I losing my rewards?
No, we allow users to claim rewards the day before if they forgot to claim them.
